This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. What You'll Do
- →Perform as a member of a firefighting crew engaged in the protection of life and property.
- →Perform fire protection inspections in areas where fire hazards are expected.
- →Participate as a member of a team to safely decontaminate personnel, personnel protective equipment, protective clothing, and supplies.
- →Inspect fire truck equipment to ensure all equipment remains fully operational.
- →Respond to hazardous material incidents surveying scene for the purpose of controlling the spread and/or release.
