You will serve as a FIREFIGHTER (BLS/HAZMAT TECHNICIAN) in the NAVY FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES DIVISION of NAVAL AIR WEAPONS STATION CHINA LAKE.
What You'll Do
- →You will administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillation (AED) for a patient.
- →You will analyze the structural condition of a building to determine firefighting equipment and apparatus required to fight fire.
- →You will inspect fire extinguishers to verify they are fully operational and meet all regulatory requirements.
- →You will collect initial hazardous materials response information from hazardous materials safety data sheets, United Nations/North American (UN/NA) identification numbers, or placards.
