About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Emergency Services, Yakima, WA.
What You'll Do
- →Employ a variety of established emergency medical techniques, methods, and equipment to stabilize a patient for transport as soon as possible to the receiving facility.
- →Respond to emergencies involving traumatic injury or medical illness which may be life threatening.
- →Respond on-site to accidents and other emergencies involving injuries and illnesses which will require basic life support.
- →Operate a hazardous material vehicle.
- →Operate a variety of major motorized firefighting equipment, including structural, and brush firefighting vehicles, using knowledge of equipment capabilities to respond to various types of fire alarms and aid requests.
