About the Role
THIS IS AN INDIANA NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This position is in the Excepted Service under the authority of Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA) This position is part of the IN USPFO, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number PD#T5133000 . What You'll Do
- →Directs financial management policy in support of the ARNG military organizations and units.
- →Serves as the principal financial advisor and the technical expert to the state Adjutant General (AG), USPFO, senior staff management, major subordinate commands, and the Program Budget Advisory Council (PBAC).
- →Determines the significant impact of projected DOD, DA, NGB and other government programs affecting the state ARNG’s fiscal policies.
- →Implements appropriate courses of action as best suited for the state.
- →Writes, implements and maintains an effective system of financial management controls for the state ARNG.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ✓An undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university is mandatory.
- ✓Awarded college degree should be in one of, or a combination of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, math, statistics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management.
- ✓A graduate degree in accounting or a related field is optimum.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
