The primary purpose of this position is to provides financial management oversight on compliance, interpretation and implementation of a wide variety of policies, regulations and directives as they pertain to the continued deployment and long-term sustaining operations for the Defense Travel System (DTS). Acts as the Supervisory Defense Travel Administrator for DTS and Reserve Travel System (RTS) for all users assigned to the wing.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the focal point for all travel payment processes and related feeder and accounting system data.
- →Provides administrative and technical oversight of all the wing's travel entitlement and payment processes.
- →Manages the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Reserve Travel System (RTS) systems.
- →Manages the DTS debt Management Module (DMM) to ensure due process is served and over-payments of travel entitlement are collected in a timely manner.
- →Conducts various reviews and special studies of budget, travel and/or related information for assigned programs/organizations.
- →Manages Travel Pay and Budget self-inspection programs.
- →Provides advice, assistance, and guidance of budgeting related issues and travel entitlements/travel vouchers to all personnel supported by the Wing.
