The Office of Support Operations (OSO) Business Management and Continuity Branch is looking for a dynamic professional to enhance its financial management program. The branch ensures the most efficient and effective business practices are followed throughout the organization and serves as a conduit for OSO offices to plan, manage, and execute mission requirements.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a Financial Management Specialist, ensuring accurate budget planning, formulation, tracking (controls), and execution to meet organizational objectives.
- →Determines financial management information needs, coordinates with organizational stakeholders, makes recommendations, and develops and monitors financial systems and programs to assist the assigned organization's managers in fulfilling their financial responsibilities.
- →Analyzes, interprets, compiles, and summarizes the assigned organization's budget and program guidance.
- →Monitors a variety of financial and statistical trends and prepares management financial reports for senior managers to inform them of negative or positive financial trends or conditions portrayed in financial records.
- →Develops and prepares guidance, reports, briefings or analysis in response to requests for budget or financial information.
- →Interacts and interfaces with programming and budgeting analysts, resource managers, agency professionals in support of budget justification and submission.
