The position is responsible for the direction of financial management and revenue generation services for the service unit. This includes accounting services, budget, financial cost reporting, evaluation of activities and advisory services, in order to furnish timely data used in the direction, evaluation and control of operations at the various levels of management and services. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Advises on financial issues affecting programs within the assigned program area.
- →Analyzes and evaluates changes in program plans, objectives and funding and their effect on financial program milestones.
- →Works to improve or develop financial management systems and related policies, goals and objectives for organization's programs.
- →Assess systems and procedures used to generate financial reports for the quality, and utility of the data and data displays.
- →Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, evaluated work performance, interview candidates for positions, hear and resolve complaints from employees.
Requirements
