As a Financial Management Analyst at the GS-0501-13, you will be part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will be responsible support the agency's financial operations by conducting budget formulation, analysis and execution, processing financial obligations, and reporting expenditures. Additionally, you will also provide internal audit support and complete technical and administrative duties for agency-wide programs.
What You'll Do
- →Collects and analyzes financial data to formulate and project current-year and forecasted funding requirements.
- →Develops analytical tools such as spreadsheets, logs, and databases to capture current and historical financial data and produce cost projections.
- →Monitors Agency-wide programs, tracks expenditures and identifies trends, issues, and required adjustments impacted by changing policies.
- →Prepares reports, spreadsheets, correspondences, and materials supporting budget submissions including Exhibit 54 Space Justification Summary.
- →Meets with internal and external stakeholders to communicate funding plans and provide financial justifications.
- →Serves as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR), develops Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluates proposals, and monitors service provider performance.
