About the Position: This position supports the mission of the J-8, Financial Operations Directorate and is located in Falls Church, Virginia or San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible to the Chief, Revenue Cycle Management Branch for the management and oversight of all aspects of the UBO for the DHA.
- →Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Federal Laws pertaining to the programs, insurance industry guidelines, DoD, and DHA procedures and instructions to develop a training plan to ensure all DHA UBO personnel are current on the policies and procedures.
- →Develop and render authoritative interpretations of executive orders, OMB guidance within and across agency lines.
- →Ensure accuracy of reports regarding all programs of reimbursement; initiate specialized management reports to analyze the effectiveness of reimbursable programs; and develop and execute a process to reconcile reimbursable programs.
- →Prepare and implement DHA instructions regarding the DHA’s Third Party Collection (TPC) program, Medical Affirmative Claims (MAC) Program, and Medical Services Account (MSA) Program.
- →Analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of DHA's programs and administrative operations.
