About the Position: This position is located at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Incentives may be considered for new federal employees.
What You'll Do
- →Review and certify Operation and Maintenance funding availability which includes contract, supply, pharmaceutical, and travel commitments and obligations.
- →Analyze spend/phasing plans to determine funding availability.
- →Employees of this level are also Certifiers for all command medical and nonmedical travelers in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- →Provide guidance to all coworkers, supervisors, internal and external customers regarding budget, regulations, and procedures.
- →Position requires analyzing, testing, problem solving and experience auditing to ensure compliance in accordance with Defense Health Agency guidance, Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation and other guidance’s.
- →Formulate budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.
- →Develop and/or utilize automated spreadsheets and database applications for financial accounting reports to management officials within the Command.
- →Utilize financial systems such as, Defense Civilian Pay System, Financial Management Information System, Defense Travel System, Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support, and General Fund Enterprise Business System.
