This position is part of the Office of Management, Department of Energy. As a Facility Operations Specialist, you will perform Quality Assurance Inspections of some aspects of a large multi-million dollar per annum facilities management contract that includes operation and maintenance of building systems.

- →Veterans shape the future of energy As a Facility Operations Specialist, you will: Inspect facilities, building systems, and contractor work to identify deficiencies, verify compliance with requirements, and initiate corrective action.
- →Plan and coordinate facility operations, maintenance, repairs, alterations, construction, and other building services to meet operational requirements with minimal disruption.
- →Develop facility contract requirements and provides technical oversight of contractor performance, deliverables, schedules, and work progress.
- →Analyze facility operations and building requirements, resolves operational problems, develops cost estimates, and recommends improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- →Respond to facility emergencies and coordinates with management, contractors, customers, and other organizations to maintain safe and continuous building operations.
- →Acquire property, supplies, and facility services using authorized procurement methods and maintains required purchasing, funding, invoice, and procurement documentation.
