You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINMENT (FM&S) PRODUCT LINE CORE/PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (PWD) of NSF INDIAN HEAD. GS-11: $84,601 - $109,975 GS-12: $101,401 - $131,826
What You'll Do
- →You will support the Command mission of facilities maintenance and sustainability by planning for and implementing a Public Works Department-level asbestos program according to the Navy-wide Asbestos Program Management Manual corporate processes.
- →You will ensure all facilities work is completed in a safe, healthy, and regulatory and policy compliant manner.
- →You will perform monitoring and inspection of all asbestos affected processes, management controls, and projects.
- →You will collect and record program data and costs, using corporate authoritative data management systems.
- →You will interface with regulators and coordinate field inspections to complete facility maintenance projects.
- →You will advise management and staff on interpretation of facilities policies, procedures, and laws.
- →You will advise management in the development of solutions for facilities asbestos related challenges.
- →You will advise and ensure that PWD personnel who work with, or encounter asbestos are properly trained.
