This position is located in one of three Senior O&M Manager organizations of Transmission Field Services (TF), Transmission Services (T) Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). A successful candidate in the Facility Operations Specialist position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative, analytical, planning, advisory, and evaluative work to ensure facilities, equipment, materials, supplies, vehicles, and other resources are available when needed.
What You'll Do
- →As a Facility Operations Specialist you will: Coordinates assignments with those of specialists in other subject-matter areas.
- →Develops, coordinates, implements, and recommends changes in basic policy issuances and implementing instructions covering established techniques, practices, and methods.
- →As a project lead, plans, organizes, and conducts detailed analyses and studies of problems and issues impacting the equipment, materials, supplies, vehicles, and other resources needed to support the facilities and the operation, maintenance, and construction functions of the organization.
- →Prepares initial project scopes, descriptions, and justifications for necessary facility modifications when infrastructure capabilities cannot support valid mission requirements.
- →Studies, analyzes, evaluates, justifies and recommends modification/construction of NEP facilities.
- →Works with Fleet Management to ensure all new requests are properly scoped, justified, and cost estimated according to the established criteria and process.
- →Monitors reimbursable work orders for completion and schedule adherence.
- →Performs or participates in a full range of project management functions for assigned projects.
