About the Role

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the administration and management of the facilities and maintenance department of a Inns of the Corps program.
  • Acts as the liaison with MCCS Logistics on facility and maintenance repair, projects, renovations and minor construction.
  • Initiates the repair and maintenance of equipment in support of facility activities.
  • Observes required safety, sanitation, and hazardous waste disposal rules and regulations.
  • Prepares and/or approves requisitions for all necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Maintains inventory and is responsible for purchasing and property accounting records.
  • Acts as primary point of contact with MCCS Logistics Project Managers in support of the base Facility Maintenance Department on maintenance matters.
  • Plan, organizes work, and manages internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies.
  • Monitors programs on a regular basis, and initiates corrective action to ensure support of operating programs of the activity.
  • Manages new property resources and may provide direction on facility renovations and improvements.
  • Counsels and trains employees, schedules and directs work, appraises work performance.
  • Approves or disapproves leave, personnel actions and verifies daily attendance and time cards.
  • Must be alert to substance abuse and take appropriate action.
  • Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity and Sexual Harassment policies, and ensures compliance with fire, safety, and other environmental issues and programs.
