You will serve as a FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST in the PORT OPERATIONS N31 of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.
What You'll Do
- →You will assess impact across organizational lines to determine necessary interfacing required to achieve goals.
- →You will review facilities acquisition engineering designs to confirm quality and cost effective methods of accomplishing the required designs are used.
- →You will manage staff conducting facilities maintenance inspections and special technical investigations to verify facilities are being properly maintained.
- →You will follow-up on the status of open facilities work orders to check if work is moving toward completion.
- →You will conduct meetings with field supervisors and officials to verify the production effort is consistent with project priorities.
- →You will develop and maintain facilities maintenance policies and procedures to meet mission objectives.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- ✓OR Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
- ✓OR Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓Percentage of education plus percentage of experience must equal 100%.
