You will serve as an EXERCISE PLANS OFFICER in the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group (MCTOG) Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC) of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as as a ground combat element exercise planner and developer in support of this organization's formal learning program: Marine Corps Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environment (LVC-TE).
- →You will serve as Supervisor of the Exercise Control Section providing direction Io one Captain, one MSgt, one GySgt, GS-12 and GS-09 employees, in addition to providing oversight to 25 contracted employees.
- →You will balance workload among staff and functional areas based on priorities, consideration of difficult requirements of assignments, and competing requirements for organizational resources to increase effectiveness of operations.
- →You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, executing, and conducting pre and post-exercise actions for advanced individual and advanced collective training events.
- →You will attend coordination meetings, conferences and Working Groups in order to support exercise design, execution, and furth the ground combat element's training requirements and objectives with senior decision makers.
- →You will develop performance plans and assess civilian and military subordinate performance.
- →You will author awards for personnel deserving recognition for their actions, serve on selection panels for vacant positions; proposing discipline, approving leave.
- →You will inform and advise the Officer In Charge (OIC) on all aspects of Exercise Training preparation, coordination, changes, execution, Major Scenario Event List (MSEL) and After Action Review (AAR).
