This position is located with the Office of the Secretary of Interior, OS Assistant Secretary - Indian Affairs in Washington, District of Columbia. The position is in the Office of the Assistant Secretary - Indian Affairs where the incumbent reports to a senior staff member or supervisor. The incumbent provides administrative, analytical, and support functions in an executive office environment.
What You'll Do
- →As Executive Assistant, GS-0301, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to: Assists in providing support on matters coming before the supervisor for review.
- →Reviews documents, correspondence, and questions received in the office and assigns to appropriate subordinate for action.
- →Gathers information related to program issues and helps assemble data as directed by supervisor.
- →Establishes and revises office procedures to be followed by staff members and informs them clearly in a timely fashion of changes to established procedures.
- →Assists in obtaining information for the supervisor and staff members from various sources.
- →Conducts assignments involving the selection, compilation and summarization of data to be used in reports and other correspondence.
Requirements

- ✓One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
- ✓Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis.
- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
