You will serve as an EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in PORT OPERATIONS (N31) of COMMANDER - NAVAL INSTALLATIONS.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all areas of small boat, service craft and waterfront collateral equipment for the Port Operations enterprise.
- →You will update programs to maintain regulatory compliance through recommended changes to policies or procedures.
- →You will investigate material deficiencies to provide recommendations to suppliers, users, or repairers.
- →You will develop written recommendations to improve material ordering, procuring, and receipt process.
- →You will discuss contract modification issues (funding, tasking, or manpower) with contractors and various agency or activity personnel.
- →You will use computer software applications to document technical work (e.g., compile data, prepare reports and procedures, perform research).
