About the Position: Serves as the LEMC technical expert for missile/munitions demilitarization (R3 processes). Manages the Capital Investment Program (CIP) and vehicle fleet. Acts as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for equipment procurement, defining specs and evaluating contracts. Reviews equipment utilization, manages property accountability (DPAS/TDA), and collaborates with DoD/industry partners.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the primary technical expert for missile and munitions demilitarization, Resource Recovery and Reuse (R3) processes, and emerging technologies.
- →Manage the Capital Investment Program (CIP) and act as the principal liaison for equipment projects and program evaluations.
- →Perform Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) duties, including defining technical specifications, conducting market surveys, and monitoring contractor performance.
- →Analyze equipment utilization, repair, and replacement records to justify the acquisition of new machinery or the turn-in of obsolete assets.
- →Administer the activity’s GSA vehicle fleet, coordinating maintenance, monitoring utilization, and scheduling timely replacements.
- →Coordinate the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) for non-expendable equipment and manage data input within the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
- →Brief senior leadership and military officials from the Army, Navy, and Air Force on production capabilities and strategic teaming arrangements.
