What You'll Do
- →If selected at the GS-11 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity Performs a variety of tasks and responsibilities in the areas of course management, educational research, delivery of instruction, curriculum development, educational evaluation, and consultation.
- →Oversees, and performs major updates, general maintenance, implementation, administration, scheduling, and evaluation of assigned course(s) of instruction in the field of environmental protection.
- →Instructs courses in the field of environmental protection in such areas as environmental laws, Transportation of HazMat/HazWaste, according to Department of Transportation regulations,.. ...Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) Facility Compliance, Safety, Manifesting, and Environmental Workshops on the disposal of Hazardous Materials/Hazardous Wastes (HM/HW).
- →Develops and maintains course materials for environmental protection courses.
- →Conducts research in this field in order to improve the quality of instruction and contribute to the professional body of knowledge relating to environmental protection
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for the GS-12 grade level.
