About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Campbell, KY.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as program manager for one or more environmental programs.
- →Assure technical adequacy and compliance of installation plans, programs, and policies for assigned environmental programs.
- →Provide expert advice/technical assistance concerning local, state, federal, DOD, and Army environmental laws, regulations, policies, and directives concerning management and environmental processes.
- →Advise the Installation Commander, Director of Public Works, and higher officials on environmental problems that may affect the installation's ongoing mission.
