About the Role
You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (Assistant Planning and Engineering Manager - APEPM) for the Engineering and Planning Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will assist the Project Engineering and Planning Manager as required in the engineering administration of project management products.
- →You will work on engineering projects and availabilities as assigned, including preparing engineering documents.
- →You will complete engineering audits and evaluations.
- →You will be responsible for the engineering aspects involved in the development, design, installation, test, and performance of systems and equipment.
- →You will review planned work, in progress and completed, to ensure integration of the most recent and desirable engineering features.
- →You will maintain scientific/engineering programs and other documentation that pertains to them.
- →You will direct, train and/or coordinate efforts required to complete engineering and facilities projects.
