About the Role
About the Position: Under the Direction of the District Logistics Manager, serve as the Engineering Technician with overall responsibilities for addressing any issues associated with facilities at the District and any ancillary facilities assigned to the District, and perform as a certified Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for facility service contracts.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for overseeing and coordinating planning, developing scopes of work (SOW), and/or Performance Work Statements (PWS).
- →Serve as the Project Manager delivering the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned facilities projects.
- →Review project progress measuring performance and take necessary corrective actions.
- →Serve as project coordinator for a variety of service contracts and single task delivery order projects.
- →Provide oversight, data entry, repair history, analysis and documentation of ongoing maintenance control program for equipment including electrical and mechanical operating equipment, machinery, miscellaneous tools.
- →Develop preventative maintenance program to include identifying requirements, monitoring maintenance schedules (i.e., contractor or other government mechanism), and inspection/certification on compliance of maintenance performed.
