About the Role
About the Position: You will operate a variety of equipment and perform a variety of duties in support of maintenance functions. Perform a variety of miscellaneous maintenance duties to maintain and repair dam and project facilities. What You'll Do
- →Operate a construction-grade tractor for both new construction and repairs to existing systems.
- →Maintain and repair hydraulic gates, hoists, hangers, elevators, sump pumps, water system pumps, chlorinates and stand-by generators.
- →Inspect circuit breakers and fuses for proper condition.
- →Repair light switches, outlets and fixtures.
- →Weld steel and aluminum components using a variety of welding processes.
- →Collect humidity, temperature and wind velocity readings from weather instrument, make gage readings pertaining to water storage, and perform related calculations.
- →Check dam equipment gages and indicators for accuracy and, if in error, makes necessary adjustments.
