About the Role

You will serve as a Engineer in the Sensors Weapons and Launchers, Weapon Systems In-service Engineering Division, Code E60 Rolling Airframe Missile Systems Branch, Code E61 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

What You'll Do

  • You will lead engineering, technical and logistics personnel in developing and implementing programmatic requirements from acquisition through phase out.
  • You will assign technical tasking, provide recommendations and solutions to technical related issues, and develop project budget and manpower/workload requirements.

  • Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements List), evaluation of proposed installation changes You will lead and coordinate shipboard RAM maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modernization efforts.

Requirements

  • Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
  • Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
  • OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

  • OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
