About the Role
You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Guam of NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC. Guam is designated as a medically underserved area. Military medical facilities offer space-available primary and limited specialty medical care; however, services are not guaranteed.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform voice system/network switch operations and maintenance.
- →You will read and interpret technical documents such as electronic schematic drawings, technical manuals, blueprints, and system/sub-system drawings.
- →You will provide knowledge of telecommunications equipment, networks, and components, including Digital electronic switching systems, Fiber optic transmission systems, and Network equipment.
- →You will provide Hands-on experience in the administration, operation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and networks.
- →You will perform switching network configuration and telephony server management administration functions.
- →You will provide programing for unique customer's operation requirement such as call routing, special call handling agents, voice menus announcements and VOIP services.
