About the Role
You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the SONAR BRANCH (CODE 292), COMBAT SYSTEMS DIVISION, ENGINEERING and PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will evaluate project objectives, perform complex engineering calculations and identify most economical and efficient procedures for performance verification.
- →You will prepare and review correspondence, such as job summaries, task group instructions (TGIs), deficiency logs (DLs), deficiency Reports (DRs), technical reports, estimates, status reports, instructions and procedures.
- →You will provide sequence of work and manning requirement information to project and department managers.
- →You will prepare scheduling documents, status reports, milestone charts, "game plans”, estimates and other management documents for assigned systems.
