About the Role
You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC.
What You'll Do
- →You will review, analyze and devise methods of resolving switch performance anomalies reported by the Switch Performance Monitoring System, DMS Monitor, Killer Trunks, Automatic Trunk Testing, Automatic Line Testing, and trouble log reporting system.
- →You will Diagnose and resolves all AVAYA switch troubles that were generated in the switch log utility, DWDM/SONET alarm and CAIRS fault system.
- →You will perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance IAW established preventive maintenance and original equipment manufacture OEM instructions without causing network outage.
- →You will develop plan and performs inspections, tests, evaluations, operation, maintenance and quality control of all systems, equipment and facilities used in the NCTS Guam Base Level Communications facility.
- →You will submit formal reports on special studies or technical investigations.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of qualifying experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may meet minimum qualifications based on equivalent combination of education and experience, as follows: Successfully completed two full years of graduate education or a master's degree directly related to the work of the position.
- ✓OR Combination of qualifying experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal 100 percent.
