About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Electronics Technician within the Police Provost Marshall Division, Physical Security Branch. Performs regular maintenance, installation and repair of facility monitoring systems throughout the installation.
What You'll Do
- →Installs, repairs and removes wiring and conduit.
- →Adjust and regulate unit settings based on manufacturer recommendation.
- →Regular maintenance, repair and removal of facility monitoring systems.
- →Install cables through access holes, walls, ceiling and floors, drilling holes and climbing ladders.
- →Mount and install equipment to include control panels, door and window contacts, video cameras and sensors.
- →Troubleshoot alarm mishaps and failures using common test equipment, schematics.
- →Maintain logs of maintenance and repairs.
- →Conduct scheduled maintenance and functional tests.
