About the Role
You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Technical Support and Test Division, Weapons Repair Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Salary Information: GS 11: $83,935 - $109,122 GS 12: $100,602 - $130, 786
What You'll Do
- →You will provide Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA), waterfront/deck-plate engineering, technical, logistics, management and coordination assistance and services for Submarine electrical and mechanical systems.
- →You will conduct system/equipment operational and maintenance assessments.
- →You will provide alteration installation team (AIT) support including dock-side, at-sea, pre/post modernization/ installation testing and shipboard technical and logistics support during system/equipment modernization installations.
- →You will provide engineering technical assistance in troubleshooting and fault isolation, pre/post availability inspections and grooms, work packages and technical work document review.
- →You will create and develop plans and procedures for isolation and resolution of complex intermittent shipboard system problems.
- →You will provide technical over-sight, consultation, and over-the-shoulder maintenance training; and FTA data collection and reporting services.
