About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain DoD Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Electronics Technician specializing in electronic and electrical systems and components at a large area office with support also provided to other field sites throughout the Detroit District.
What You'll Do
- →Installs, repairs, tests, troubleshoots, maintains, and overhauls, a variety of complex electronicequipment.
- →Determines methods and techniques required to accomplish tasks and solve moderately complex electronic circuitry problems.
- →Conducts acceptance and performance tests on newly installed and existing systems and components.
- →Conducts periodic inspections of operational systems and components to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
- →Recognizes and judges the impact of repairs, changes, and adjustment on related integral devices.
- →Determines whether the system(s) must be removed from service, allowed to remain in service, or restored to service.
