The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) Maintenance Technician and to provide technical expertise, maintenance and repair of Electronic Security Systems (ESS)s, Base Perimeter Surveillance Systems, and Network Operating System Administrator.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as an IBDSS Electronics Technician.
- →Installs, modifies overhauls, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs Vindicator Electronic Security Systems to ensure compliance with USAF established standards and safety requirements.
- →Administers Operating Systems Networks.
- →Implement new network operating systems hardware/software and develop ESS network operating procedures.
- →Performs pretest, operational/functional, and final testing, final tuning, alignment, and or calibration of highly complex electronic systems, components and/or subassemblies.
- →Sets up and operates software controlled automatic test equipment (ATE) to test and troubleshoot complex electronics components and systems.
- →Uses and maintains hand tools, equipment, follows safety practices following established safety rules, regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
