The incumbent serves as Warfighter Solutions Division Electronics Technician in support of (but not limited to) Quick Reaction Engineering, Legacy Systems Sustainment, and Avionics Data Solutions.
What You'll Do
- →This position is being filled under the memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) "Expansion of Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense," dated October 15, 2021.
- →As a Electronics Technician at the NJ-0856-4 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as Warfighter Solutions Division Electronics Technician in support of (but not limited to) Quick Reaction Engineering, Legacy Systems Sustainment, and Avionics Data Solutions.
- →Performs rapid prototyping and PCB repair and assembly during projects with tight schedules.
- →Supports back-end manufacturing PCB packaging/assembly, environmental tests, inspection and screening processes for the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) tools Responsible for equipment maintenance, equipment calibration, HazMat duties, equipment Inventory, facilities support, ESD coordination, and technical analysis.
- →Performs lab management duties, such as MICP equipment tracking, DRMO activities, equipment PMEL, ESD and HAZMAT compliance, and replenishes component inventory.
