What You'll Do
- →Responsible for conducting problem analysis, pre-purchase equipment evaluations, coordination of outside contractors, installation, training, preventative maintenance, testing and repairs on medical equipment located in the Biomedical Department according to equipment standards, patient safety parameters, and regulatory requirements.
- →Assists in the management of the Medical Center Biomedical Program in accordance with local and Federal laws, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Joint Commission regulatory standards, directives and professional guidelines.
- →Engages in planning and directing or overseeing the installation of complex systems and develops additional procedural instructions for equipment repairs as needed.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staffs correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
Requirements
