To provide electronics technician support for the technical operation of a color television studio, 60 channel cable distribution system, satellite-based distance learning uplink site, and portable location recording systems.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, and performs maintenance of highly specialized broadcast quality color television equipment, video systems, and support equipment.
- →Provides technical assistance to the Engineering branch team with the selection of equipment to meet systems requirements.
- →Ensures quality workmanship is a part of all engineering aspects including scanning, sync and pulse, satellite, and radiofrequency transmission, balanced audio and video color camera systems and distribution networks.
- →Serves as the engineering Branch expert in the design, layout, and installation of television systems and custom video, audio, and distance learning systems to meet a wide variety of applications.
- →Serves as the computer-based design system operator for AUTV.
