This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain personnel of the Department of Defense workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Electronics Mechanic at the Directorate of Public Works, Operations and Maintenance Division, Utilities Branch at Ft Leavenworth, KS
What You'll Do
- →Install, maintain, and modify surveillance video equipment.
- →Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair avionic communications systems to include voice switching systems, digital voice recorders and GPS antennas.
- →Test, maintain, and repair microprocessor and computer-controlled communications consoles and radio equipment.
- →Install, maintain, and repair electronic fire alarm equipment.
- →Set up and operate public address systems.
