About the Role
You will serve as a Electronics Mechanic in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia ***See Additional Information section below for details***
What You'll Do
- →You will manufacture, test, overhaul and repair electrical equipment and install communication equipment.
- →You will make all cable wire connections to main units and all ancillary components.
- →You will test equipment and compare wave shapes on scope with standard wave shapes of circuit and various other test operations dependent on information desired and test equipment involved.
- →You will use a full range of hand tools, power tools and test equipment related to the trade.
- →You will test, repair and install electronics equipment such as radar, sonar and naval tactical data system (NTDS).
- →You will diagnose problems and determine corrective action for complex electronic units and complete systems such as precision radar systems.

- ✓Additional Information: ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
