About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for to Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as an Electronic Mechanic (Motor Vehicle Operator) with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Jackson, SC.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as an Electronic Mechanic in monitoring, maintaining, setting, resetting, and or repairing controls for a variety of Fire Alarms and Fire Suppression Systems.
- →Installs, maintains, and repairs electric wiring systems, related switches, distribution panels and outlet boxes, as well as, a wide variety of electrical fixtures, tools and appliances
