About the Position: Serves as working leader of four or more employees in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of electronic test equipment for air-launched missile systems. Leads technicians in troubleshooting complex circuitry, performing system checkouts, and adapting calibration procedures. Coordinates daily workloads, ensures safety and SOP compliance, and provides administrative support and technical guidance to guarantee mission-readiness.
What You'll Do
- →Lead a team of four or more technicians in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of complex electronic test equipment for air-launched missile systems.
- →Schedule daily workloads and assigns maintenance tasks to team members to ensure the efficient utilization of personnel and resources.
- →Instruct team members on the proper checkout, calibration, and adjustment of specialized electronics, infrared, and laser test sets.
- →Ensure that necessary work orders, technical drawings, schematics, tools, and parts are available to technicians before beginning work.
- →Monitor compliance with safety regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and facility housekeeping rules during daily operations.
- →Troubleshoot complex electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions in specialized missile test sets to isolate and repair defective circuits.
- →Provide ongoing technical guidance to lower-graded workers and reports work progress, delays, and administrative updates to the supervisor.
