THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD0872P01 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. Note: This announcement is a triple-bid in conjunction with Job Opportunity Announcements: TN-12957313-AR-26-174, and TN-12957317-AR-26-175. Only one selection will be made.
What You'll Do
- →Complete operational checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting of Line Replaceable Units (LRU).
- →Complete bench check, testing, repair, inspection, modification, programming, reprogramming, mating, adjusting, alignment, and analyzing of LRUs and shop replaceable units.
- →Recommend methods to improve equipment performance, technical data, and maintenance procedures by reporting hardware and software malfunctions, initiate material deficiency reports both on equipment and in technical data, and assist in design changes as necessary.
- →When designated on NGB Flying Status Orders, serve as member of flight crew for the purpose of diagnosing and recording malfunctions, or otherwise determining maintenance and repair requirements.
- →Guide lower level mechanics in the performance of duties.
- →Process and account for due-in supply assets.
- →Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations such as Operational Readiness Evaluations (ORE), Command Logistics Readiness Inspections (CLRT-X), and Aviation Resource Management Surveys.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
