This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent works in the Directorate of Public Works and maintains, repairs, and operates building automation systems (BAS).
What You'll Do
- →Works with building equipment mechanics and contractors to complete maintenance and repair of building automation systems (BAS).
- →Examines and troubleshoots communication links with Local Area Networks.
- →Identifies, analyzes, and diagnoses individual controls and system problems through remote interface software or directly while on site.
- →Troubleshoots and repairs direct digital controls, programmable logic controllers, Siemens APPOGEE building controllers, and building mechanical systems.
