You will serve as an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic in the Utilities and Energy Management Product Line of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
What You'll Do
- →You will test, calibrate, repair, and perform maintenance necessary to insure reliability and efficiency of all thermal plants.
- →You will interpret control logic drawings, ladder diagrams, blueprints, electrical/electronic schematic diagrams, wire circuit drawings, and OEM drawings and specifications.
- →You will operate EWS (engineering workstation) computer and human machine interfaces for the purpose of troubleshooting boiler controls.
- →You will calibrate and replace as necessary Programmable Logic Controllers for the demineralizer water plants and distributed control system components for the boiler and plant systems controls.
- →You will conduct regular inspections of flow meter recording, integrated flows, pressures, temperatures, levels, and analyzer readings (gas and water).
- →You will check circuits, attach leads to terminals, connect test equipment, and compare results with standard.
- →You will adjust and troubleshoot pneumatic devices.
