About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 5000 employees.
What You'll Do
- →Lead worker managing complex electronic control and indicating systems, Numerically/Computer Controlled (NC) (CNC) equipment, electronic components/parts, and electronic test equipment associated with the industrial Production Equipment.
- →Manages the industrial waste treatment plant equipment, CNC computer programming for reloading the executive computer program, PLC, ASRS systems, Transmission Test Stands, CLA intrusion system, Engine Test Cells and DC motor controls.
- →Works with manufacturing representatives in troubleshooting, repairing and/or replacing defective components parts.
- →Repairs surveillance monitors (television and VCR) for intrusion detection system.
- →Uses testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, multimeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- →Interpret non-English schematics and drawings to repair complex industrial equipment.
- →Works with Production Machinery Mechanics (Millwrights), Electricians, and Plumbers on equipment with high voltages.
