This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Performs the full range of maintenance, repair and installation services in connection with industrial, electronic, electrical-electronic electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical controls as contained on various equipment and systems.
What You'll Do
- →Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs the systems and components enumerated above.
- →Answers trouble calls and checks circuits, wiring, transistors etc. and locates and diagnoses malfunctions.
- →Corrects trouble by replacing or repairing defective parts and components.
- →Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment to which assigned.
- →Identifies weak spots and potential trouble areas and repairs or replaces components to avoid possible future failure.
