About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Apply Journey-man Level knowledge of electrical properties, principles and accepted maintenance concepts to provide extensive maintenance support to the installation.
What You'll Do
- →Installs, maintains, modifies, troubleshoots, tests, and repairs electrical wiring systems, related switches, controls, distribution panels, and outlet boxes, as well as a wide variety of electrical fixtures, tools and appliances.
- →Following maintenance schedules and inspections or work orders, performs maintenance services, diagnoses system or equipment malfunction, and repairs as necessary.
- →Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests, and adjusts a variety of equipment, circuitry, and fixtures such as, electrical buzzer and bell circuits, light sockets, lighting fixtures, signal generators, and shop equipment.
- →Tests circuits and equipment by use of voltmeter, ammeter, and wattmeter.
- →Repairs lighting systems or other systems atop antenna or water towers.
