About the Role
You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN LEADER in the Lifting and Handling Department 700, Deputy Lifting and handling Department 701, Crane Maintenance Division 730 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will coordinate work while assuring proper inter-trade and inter-shop coordination, high levels of quality assurance with timely orderly job completion.
- →You will provide on the job training for workers under your leadership and correct improper electrician works methods.
- →You will ensure safe work practice and good housekeeping while assuring timely tools, equipment, material, and procedure availability.
- →You will plan and execute the sequence of work tasks, utilizing information from blueprints, sketches and work documents.
- →You will maintain close observation of all work operations.
- →You will discuss with other trade leaders and attempt to resolve work problems at the lowest level possible.
