About the Role
You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN LEADER in the ELECTRICAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will relay supervisor's instructions to both nuclear and non-nuclear electricians in assigned work group.
- →You will set the pace and instruct employees on proper work procedures, use of tools, and safety pertaining to shipboard electrical systems.
- →You will verify work is done in accordance with accepted procedures and/or instructions.
- →You will give appropriate skills training utilizing shop training tools such as mock ups, in shop work areas or facilities, and on deck-plates.
- →You will ensure records and qualifications are maintained.
