This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Human Resources Directorate, IBC Human Resources Directorate. The incumbent will be responsible for providing drug and alcohol testing activities for an assigned organizational client base.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinating and facilitating drug and alcohol testing procedures according to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, to include coordination with field offices regarding arranging collection sites, schedules, and other drug testing activities.
- →Collecting alcohol and drug specimens, completing appropriate documentation and federal chain of custody requirements.
- →Performing task analysis, flow charting work processes, and graphing and calculating statistical measures to compile monthly metrics and data to support the management of the drug and alcohol testing program.
- →Investigating and resolving discrepancies with specimen identification numbers, untimely collections, reporting of test results, chain of custody omissions, missing custody and control forms, affidavits, and other issues.
- →Distributing drug testing related information, answering administrative questions related to the the Drug-Free Workplace Program.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, determined by background investigation.
- ✓Direct Deposit of pay is required.
- ✓Selective Service registration required for male applicants, unless exempt.
