This vacancy is for a GS-2030-9, Distribution Facilities Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, BASE ALAMEDA LOGISTICS DIVISION -BL in McKinleyville, California.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a Distribution Facilities Specialist and be responsible for ensuring that material management is executed to achieve and maintain an optimized supply chain and Chief Financial Officer compliant.
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Typical work assignments include: Screening documents for receipt verification, inspecting material upon receipt, and accepting material shipments into inventory.
- →Conducting physical inventories and reconciliations.
- →Initiating, preparing, editing, and processing requisitions to stock to include contacting others to obtain materials status information and/or expedite delivery.
- →Using automated systems to maintain inventory control records and to make corrections.
- →Preparing and shipping repairable material back to a designated facility.
