About the Role

This position is located at Departmental Offices,Treasury Common Services Center, Office of the Deputy Administrator for Operational Services. As a Director Travel Services, you will be advising the Assistant Secretary for Management (ASM), TCSC Administrator, and TCSC Deputy Administrator for Operational Services on Federal travel regulations, policies, and procedures.

What You'll Do

  • As a Director Travel Services, you will: Plan, direct, and oversee the overall execution of Travel Services.
  • Supervise travel staff, provide daily guidance, address developmental needs, and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Administer travel programs; oversee long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the work directed; manage organizational changes throughout Travel Services; coordinate and integrate a number of important projects and/or segments throughout Treasury; and perform long-range planning in conjunction with prospective changes in Travel functions and programs.

  • A one-year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation.

  • A review of financial or other interests may be conducted to determine if they create any real or apparent conflict of interests with official Treasury duties.
  • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
